LACR up in Palmdale closed last year so the only quarter-mile track that's open somewhat regularly now is Fontana. If you want to get a lot of track time in, the best bet is to look for some of the private track rentals. Expensive but worth it unless you're happy with maybe 3 or 4 passes on the street legal days (and they're talking about banning slicks at street legal days if they aren't DOT approved). There's also Pomona which is probably the best track in SoCal but they've only been having a couple events a year that are open to the public. If you're willing to drive out to Bakersfield there's Famoso and a couple people on here race out there. For me I can get to Vegas almost as fast as Fontana but it can be hit or miss for conditions.

If you're looking for an eighth-mile track you've got Irwindale, which if you catch on a night with good prep is a pretty sticky track. There was another one down in Perris that closed last year and also Barona, but it's pretty far south. If the urge catches you to drag race in a parking lot with parking lot type surface prep and a bunch of ricer types (which sadly includes a lot of SRT-4 owners in the region), you've got the occasional Qualcomm events.

Only by a-holes too stupid and immature to take it to the track. Those same types also then wonder why for some strange reason the cops give them a hard time and show up at meets (hmm... wonder if posting the videos on YouTube and on public forums has anything to do with that) and why so many things suck for real racers in California who do bother to keep it safe at legal events.

word.

the more logical thing to do is to shut down I-5 and do our runs there... the highway will be backed up enough that cops wont get to us...and wen we do, there will be no 1 in front of us, so we'll book the fuck out!

I've been going to barona every opportunitie i get. It's only an 1/8th mile but its something close to me... The Q is more fun to watch than to drive.

BTW...
Barona, Pre-Mole's meet Drags, Aug 8th

Ideals? Try the law. And when your shit reflects poorly on others and also gets unwanted attention on all of us for your actions, then yeah, I do think I'll state what I think. Not like I can't post something like that. It has about as much merit at your fifty-thousand post whore threads.

And old? No clue, huh? I guess if my posts come across like that. Whether you act like that in real life or not is another matter, but from your posts you come across like an immature 18 year old. Or did you turn 19 yet? I guess my age is a matter of perspective for someone your age.

Hmmmmm...

Blackbird + Totmacher in unison?

Wonder what that would do for So Cal?

Looks like I'll be investing soon...
