Default SoCal guys that want ACR style seats.......

well i have been looking to get a set of the ACR seats for a HOT MINUTE with NO LUCK.
i know that CBD make a set of (seat inserts) that you can mod your Viper seats with the ACR/harness inserts.
Build in cooperation with members of the SRT Forums to further distinguish their SRT4's and unleash the full potential of their Viper Based seats, we are now offering OEM replica Seat Inserts to allow for four and five point harness installation.
im lookng to see who else might wanna do this..........

Product Detail
Carbon by Design - Carbon Fiber Design & Manufacturing

also who has done this before?

Two things i hate about visual modding that i pay people to do: stripes and interior/fabric things. I'm scared id do one side then get cocky and botch the other one. I ASSume we have to remove the seats and take the stiching out from the underside to do a cut then stretch it back on?

one guy put up a post about doing them and said you have to glue together the pass throughs ( as they come in two pieces, front and rear ). i think he had an upholstery shop make the holes in the seats and he installed the slots himself.

Yeah, that makes sense... As for S3, I just put on the full S2 kit last weekend w/out toys. Putting my mopar exhaust/cat delete on today, then I want to try and get a run @ Barona and see the difference from stock...Then the Turbo Toys install.....Just want to see what each of the mods do, and I'm not a dyno type of guy. Trap speeds and Et's matter more to me.

I don't like dyno tuning either but they help to work out obvious quirks like bad plugs 9:1 a/f boost leaks etc. However dynoing 20 less but owning your friends is priceless.

Back on topic i have 50 bucks for seat inserts a lot faster than i have 5 bills for a clutch.
