Default Screwed!

As from my previous thread about hitting a curb, I left my car at the dealership last night(frahm dodge). So, they call me today about 12:30 and say I need a new rack n pinion for my steering and a new harness for my air conditioning and power windows. Then, they tell me its going to be $1400 for repairs and that I should contact my insurance and they'll cover it.Theres no fuckin way I'm paying the dealership $1400 for something they should of covered. I can't beleive this shit where am I going to get a rack n pinion at? I'm going back to the dealership after work an tell them to point out the damage so I could see what needs to be replaced.

You were joking about trying to get the dealership to cover a insurance claim?

Yeah man, you can't expect the dealership to cover things that YOU do to damage your car.. That's what insurance is for..

On the same note its not fair that some people blow up thier motors from modding and they from time to time have gotten new motors.

Contact Perfprmance Dodge when you get a list. YOu will save a bundle or look for a salvage car.

I belive it could easily cost that much. Wanna know why, because I hit one going half the speed you were and it cost me $1600. Two repaired rims, front fascia repair, paint, splash guards, new windshield wiper resevoir(ironically the most expensive peice to replace), even very small damage to the unibody(saw it with my own eyes), and lastly but definately not least..ly......labor. Cha-ching $16 hun! Call your insurance company...thats why you have it.

Outsource the parts and then have them put it in if you don't feel comfortable doing so..

Warranty is for PARTS failure.
Insurance is for DRIVER failure.
