Anyone who was at the last ST motorsport dyno day knows I had some probs with my car. Well it would seem those problems are long gone!!!!
Today I posted 244.81WHP and 277TQ!!!! This is running on 91 octane pump gas (with N.O.S octane booster) on a dyno that had everyone about 15 to 20WHP down. To put it into perspective, a 95 BMW m3 with a blower registered 250ish, and I was very close to him. So far my mods include.
Depends on what gear I'm in. On the street in third gear (getting on highway) I've pegged my stock boost gauge. Today I (4th gear pull I think?) spiked 19/20ish and around 14ish at 6k redline.
POST THE SHEET.... with a map clamp u would get about 255 300 like mee....but i got 330 tq hehe
im order a ported/clipped turbo should be here soon im shootin for 280 whp on s1 injectors
hey man what up? well my uncle has been MIA,"vacation" so thats why i havent called about the valve cover, but i think he is coming to work this week, need to call him,but hey man,if you need help with the turbo, you know ill be down to help!!!!
As far as the dyno goes for me, well it SUCKED!!!! i got better #'s at ST then what i did here at the "dyno shop", its weird cuz my 3rd gear pull put down, 272 hp with 278 TQ and i did a 4th gear pull and that put down 278 hp with 320 TQ, so i dont know WTF is up with that, i just think that guy sucks at dynoing but on the street the car feels fine and fast,i dont know what to think, but that place SUCKS!!!!!

I lost my digital camera, Once my Roomie's girl brings her camera down, I'll post the sheet. I've thought about a map clamp, if for nothing else to tide me over until I get the nitrous on, but I like the idea of being a lil rich for nitrous ya know
No, This was a place up in Santee called "the dyno shop".
Interesting, any changes to the car?

The pull you made at ST when your car made 280 something the boost gauge buried itself almost all the way around to the vacuum side. If I remember correctly the very next pull it dropped down to the 260's after Adam turned the boost down.

well the first pull did about 25 PSI or so with a bleed that i had on,so i took it off and becuz it kicked my out of HOM,so i just dynoed with the WGA, he was telling me that i should leave a bleed on there but only max it out to 22 PSI,or else ill start to pull timing, which i did and which caused it to kick me out of HOM he also said with that smaller bleed i should be easily make 300 whp, if not, i would be pretty damn close to it though

ill tell u what a map clamp voids turbo warrenty... so i would imagine what nos would do... but that is something i wouldnt run(well if my was my daily beater(which it is)) so but that is your car have fun... there stuff called S3R what will put down power like NOS but it aint bad for the car.... peeps will tell you different... but NOS will mess your engine up... IMO

All I was getting at is if you made more power at the Santee dyno with equal boost pressures?

NOPE!!! for some reason i get lower #'s there, hey so has Julio when he goes too and he hardly ever touches his car. Well i dont know WTF is up with that place.

well i actually dyno'd better at santee this time i looked up my pass s3r runs on their website and one was 340whp back in nov 05, then 350whp in jan 06... last saturday i put down 367.8 whp w/ hom kicking out at 4800 rpm <-didn't mix enough torco either way, that's better than the last time at s.t. (358 whp, hom holding).
btw, i fixed 3 things since the s.t. dyno day... my coolant level was extremely low= zero water level in the reservoir so i just added water, plugs were fouled black so i changed them, and re-tightened all my hose clamps, that's all i done to the car since.. and just for comparison, when i dyno'd the numbers on my sig at s.t. motorsports back in 12/05, i made the 350ish at santee couple weeks later in january w/ pretty much the same mods so technically, i should now make more than 376 whp at s.t. provided my car was running right
