Raced the cockiest driver EVAR!!! (SRT8 MAGNUM!!!!!!)
Ok, so this Saturday every one was bored after the Drift competition, so we all decided to meet up with some of the Corona crew at the Wendy's in Moval. We're all chillin and getting in a few races. (Steven SRTKID beat a GSXR-600 on the freeway) Then all of a sudden, we hear a loud rumble... then tires squeeling. So we all look around, then we see this magnum come shooting around a corner. Then, he stops in the parking lot near us, and power brakes a burnout and slides around a corner (within inches of the curb) and pulls into the Arco to get gas. So, since where out looking for races anyway, I'm like fuck it, lets go see if he'll run it.
So we all walk over to him to talk to him about the car. As we approch him, We can see that its a brand new Dodge SRT-8 Magnum, with Dealer plates and the Reg in the window. Also we can see him leaning out the car looking at us all cocky like. (I hold back my laughter). So I ask him...
(ME) Hey, are you looking to run that thing tonight....
(Him all cocky like) Do you know what this thing is....
(ME) Yeah, an SRT8, do you wanna run it tonight?
(Him) Against what?
(Me) An Evo
(Him) An Evo???..... Whats that?
(Me)An Evolution..?
(Him)Evolution....??? Whats that?
(Me) A Lancer Evolution, from mitsubishi.
(Him) OH!!! A lancer.
(Me) Yeah..... a lancer..
He looks to his passengers in the car and thinks about it.... Then Josh (05socalsrt) asks him
(Josh) Well what about an SRT?
(Him) SRT what?
(Josh) SRT-4.
He and his passenger start laughing histaracally.
(Me) Well, do you wanna run or not?
(Him) Man, Do you even know what this car has?
(Me) Yeah, 425hp...
(HIM with a grin) Yeah, 0-60 in 5.1 seconds.....
(Me under my breath) My car 0-60 in 4.4.....
(Him) What did you say?
(Me)Nothing... do you wanna run em?
(Him) I'll come check the cars out.
So we walk back over to our cars, and wait for him to fill up on his Arco gas. When he's done, he decides to do another huge burnout, this time, bottoming out the car and getting within inches of hitting a Camry. (what an idiot) So he pulls up next to our cars and I point to my car and say "this is the one your running". He says ok but he has 2 passangers in the car. So I tell him I'll get passengers too. So I grab 3 extra passangers and we're off.
So we head over to a secluded street and line them up. I tell him 3 honks then I hear him powerbrake. So I rev up, honk 3 times, dump the clutch... and the car bogs off the line hard (too many fat asses in the car). But doesn't matter soon as the turbo spools... Instant pull... I end up winning by like 7 cars. We race again, same thing.
So we turn around and tell him good run... then he challenges the Black Camry that we hang out with... (wtf???) But the camry agree's. So we head out to a place where we can do some roll runs. The I remember I never opened the Electric Cut out LOL!!!! So I was racing on stock Evo Exhaust!!! So we get to a decent 3 lane street, roll to about 40mph, I open the downpipe, 3 honks, and I put about 12-13 cars on him, and the camry ends up losing (@ 100 mph) to the SRT-8 by 1&1/2 cars. (Yes the camrys modded).
So I pull over next to the Magnum and ask him if he wants to come back and chill with us. He kinda looks down, and says.... Naw, thats ok... Man, that Evo is f*&# fast..... and pulls off.
LOL I think he headed off to the Mitsu dealer and traded his car in.

I went for it... but soon as I shifted to 5th... I shut down. The was no point... Waste of my 100oct, and his gas/meth.

I may have raced that same Magnum a month ago. Did he have blacked out headlights ??
We didn't talk though, he was weaving/flooring and when he got beside me at 60 MPH I floored it and put a buses on him. 50 trim here, 24 PSI and 2 gallons pump and 2 gallon 121s octane.
Best part is he was cocky in the beginning, driving laid back gangster style with one hand on top of the steering wheel and after the race he had the grandma driving posture going on and acted like we didn't race.
