which model?

there are only 2 models id bother messing with. and that is from their new line up featuring a billet lightweight compressor wheel and updated turbine wheel. expect to pay more for it tho.

all the others...are booboo. theyre cheaper than garrett for a reason.
they finally stepped up this year so they can finally compete w/ the GT DBB and HTA series turbos.

Precision turbo's are great turbo's....just as good as garrett.

id like to know your reasoning for saying they are junk.

they spool slower.
that compressor housing portshroud is junk and inefficient.

there's a reason they came out w/ an updated turbo line up w/ new/improved compressor wheels...

spool slower? based on what? and junk? in your opinion or genuine proof?

guess my friends 1600 hp PT98 mustang has a junk turbo on it then...... and if im not mistaken, PT use Garrett and turbonetics CHRA's.

yes they do use garrett chra's now. that is correct.

you can make good hp on a turbo, still doesnt mean its not junk in my book.

and i dont feel any reason to explain it...search for yourself on the results of the 4" PTE ported shroud covers.
honda guys hate it.
evo guys hate it even more
sti guys hate it.

peep the evo forums.
someone swappeda PTE port shroud cover for Garrett 4" inlet and gained 150rpm proven spool difference.
etc. etc.

as stated, unless you're getting the new line from PTE, go w/ a proven garrett.
