well i just bought this sprint pda phone off some guy off the street for $50.00
and i want to get it activate... but my friend told me no because if the previous owner report stolen is not going to work..... and i might get arrested?
of course its stolen, what were you thinking buying a $150 phone for $50 off some nut-job on the street. you take that to a store, they will instantly recognise it was stolen, they are VIN'd. you will get nailed for theft, or if your lucky purchasing stolen property

where can you get it for $150? I bought mine at the beginning of this year for $500 plus I had to have a sprint business account. But yeah that phone is how Im on the forums right now but this phone is a business phone ment for rich people so they do i.d these phones and keep watch on who's buys them. If you do get it activated just becareful
Go to the Sprint store and tell them you bought the phone off the internet. Tell the person at Sprint that the person you bought it from said the phone is free and clear, not stolen, and ready to activate. IF it is registered as a stolen phone, the sales rep will just let you know. They won't arrest you or call the cops lol.
if its registered stolen, they have to confiscate it. and it still stands, you run the risk of getting nailed...its up to you. you illegally purchased stolen property, live with teh consequences
