welcome to the forums.. ask questions, but definitely do a lot of reading too man. Type into the search anything you want to know about.. pretty much anything that can be done, has been done to this car and will be found in search. I had a 99 Mustang GT before this car.. so i can tell you get used to launching the car, and how it handles. If you don't already have aftermarket rims/suspension. GET IT. before you mod. Handling first..modding later. Tons of people not used to these cars wreck them because of the crappy stock handling. Sways,Coilovers/or springs/wider rims/tires.

Mods, well that's up to you. Get boost leak tested too, zip tie all hose in your engine bay.

Mopar BOV leaks boost like crazy if not installed right. Mine was done right and has no leaks, but you need to boost leak test for sure. what intake is on the car? Mopar? confused there... But yeah, come out to the IE and we'll help you out.. most of us work at night so we work on cars during the day. There are some huge meets coming up soon, one in San Diego in August..look for the thread on it. But have someone that knows about the cars look at the engine bay a little bit.. etc

ACR wheels = Light as hell but still lots of people swap out for 17'' x 7, 7.5 or 8''

What are some symptoms of a boost leak?
Ya it has a Mopar intake and mopar sts - I will probably make it to a few meets but i work a ton of hours. - i was thinking of having adam from S.T. Motorsprts look at it. i havn't talked to him since he tuned my Mach 1 but i know he use to mess with Srt-4's and maybe a few of you guys can help me out to...

Symptoms would be loss of power, audible air leak sound, low boost pressure reading on boost gauge,.. getting beat by Hondas etc.

If you can get Adam's attention for more than 10 minutes, he's not a bad guy to go to. You're better off going to a meet, people will check out your car for free

Welcome aboard. You've got a lot of good guys in the SoCal area...I'd suggest attending their meets and making it a point to hang out with them and ask questions. As Andrew said (Snoop)...do a LOT of reading on the boards too. If you've modified cars before, you already have an advantage. It's the same thing with the SRT-4 as with any other car, you just have to learn the ins and outs of this platform.
