Default New to Cali

Sup cali. I'm new to the area, I'm in the military and now live in Camp Pendleton, which is a marine corps base if yal didn't know. Anywho, I'm from texas, and my car is stll there. I'm trying to get it shipped here to the san diego area. The thing is, that they do smog checks here and I only have a 3in downpipe with no cat. Is there a place that anyone knows of that gives "hookups"? Or is that something I would just have to swap the whole exhaust out for? Appreciate any help. Btw, I love it here!

Thanks, I just don't wanna go through the hassle of trying to find a stock exhaust and put it on just to get a smog test. So I'm tryin to find a way around it.

Yes I military. So I don't HAVE to have it registered in cali? Didn't know that. Guess that should solve my smog problem. And I'm definitely down to go to the meet if I have my car by then. I'll have to get directions and whatnot later

My friend here had his car shipped from new jersey. He said they still made him take a smog test. I'm guessing its the policy of the base or something gay like that.

Go to the meet.. you'll meet at least 30 Srt owners there...and probably a couple of vette owners

yo man just keep your registration in Texas. im at 32nd base. so if youre still registered in TEXAS your good man. i just dont know how it is when you have to get base tags. they might consider a smog test but not sure.
