Default need help removing upper heat shield

i cant for the life of me remove the top heat shield to install my stage 2 wga, i stripped the bolts, can anyone in so cal help this afternoon or have a dremmel i can borrow? thanks

Next time, Use a Box End wrench on stuck 10mm's.. They strip easy with the open end. If Recommend going out and purchasing a set of Vise-Grips and Getting the bolt out of the manifold. Use Anti-Seize when putting the bolts back in.

If it has a head, Use visegrips. Dont half ass it! Use Dremel on Nuts that are frozen on a Stud.

the vice grips keep rounding the bolt out so i just used tin snips and cut a piece of the heat shield out. just enough to swap the stage 2 wga...wow spiking to 17 and holding 14-15 at redline, im loving it. question though, anyone that cut a piece of the heat shield, is that okay, or should i weld like a piece of metal to cover it, it looks pretty ugly, hahaha. i just noticed that my temp guage reads a little bit higher now.

I did the same thing. I had an ugly gash cut out of my heat shield. I just took it off. Looks better. No issues.
