Supprisingly I am not pissed. My car is totally fucked. It happened at around 11:45pm on Tuesday. I was on my way home and waiting at the light to turn onto my street. My light turns green and I start to make my left hand turn. A lady went right through the Redlight and ran right into my passenger side. She hit me going about 25-35 miles an hour.
As soon as the lady popped out after the initial shock she said "Why did you run the light" and so on. Luckily a guy that was waiting for her light to turn green stopped. I asked him if his light was RED and he said it was.
A cop was getting gas accross the street and took the witnesses statements (I had three say she ran a RED light). After she was told it was her fault she focused more on her car, apparently her car was new, as was mine. I felt bad for her kinda reminded me of my mom, so I kept trying to calm her down.
I was able to limp my car back home which was half a block away. The car sounded sooooo damn bad, metal grinding, thumping, and steering cocked 45 degrees the wrong way.
As for me I came out pretty clean. Managed not to get nailed by too much glass. I smacked my knee on the console but it just feels sore, nothing more. I am just glad no one was in my passenger seat. That sucker is screwed hard core.
Anyways enjoy the pictures. I am not sure what I am going to do about another vehicle. Not sure I will be able to get another E-Blue...might have to go Orange 8).

Geez, that looks like a solid hit! As everyone else is, I'm really glad you're okay.
Pick your new color, a bent roof is bad, remember to ask for local help getting the stuff off the car that you want to keep before it disappears.
If you do decide to buy it back, make sure you have local buyers for the big ticket items, shipping an engine can be done, but it is a real PITA.
Hopefully you have GAP insurance to cover any difference between what the insurance company gives you for the car, and what is owed on it. Be sure to spend the extra $125 on GAP insurance (bought with the loan at the bank usually) for whatever car you choose to purchase next.
I hope this works out for you, it takes all the fun out of being mean to you in other threads. Good luck, and don't be taken advantage of...
