My boost problem

Completly forgot about this... So yeah, remember when i dynoed and my boost was fluctuating between 20 and 25psi, causing the shitty dyno run?

So I figured it out the other day while uninstalling my MSBC-01. The "push-to-connect" fitting on the bottom of the gate, the push lock hose going in there was not properly cut with a razor knife, so it had a bad edge on it. It wasn't sealing right in the fitting so it was leaking intermittently from that fitting.

That explains why my car could run fine on 100% gate presure (air ontop of gate) with just Exhaust pressure pushing the gate up and controlling boost. but the second you went over gate pressure (16psi) problems started. the EBC would put manifold pressure to top of gate based of boost level, well manifold pressure to bottom of gate would fluctuate causing a inbalance from the EBC to the top of the gate vs the bottom of the gate. this caused the gate to move around causing the eratic boost levels.

Leson learned, just because you run all "Push-to-connect" fittings dosen't mean you are exempt from boost leaks
