Yeah No offense, but I think S3 is a joke, and you can ask anyone from SoCal.....
I used to think S3 was gods gift to the SRTs, I argued day and night to defend it, however it isn't worth it.
Make a trip to SoCal, and we can see if you really do beat some cars you mentioned.....
I'm from Socal.... I've raced in San Diego (where I raced the Cobra on the 15), out with John and his old Turbo Z28.
It's not even really a debate. No stock turbo should be compared to a S3 turbo. If you are basing an arguement on just money alone and spending less for performance then why not just spray...

Wow Havent seen you in Foreeeeever what you driving now days? You prob dont remember me from when u were in cali I was a newbie then lolz
NO, a stage 3 is a Joke to alot of cars... Shit ask Julio... He needed to get race gas just to beat a pump gas Supercharged RSX-S from a roll. And he has every supporting mod known to man. It sucks man. Its a decent track turbo, on HOM/DaB3. But on the streets, where most runs take place, when most poeple are on pump gas... outside of "perfect" conditions.... get that shit out of here.
And I didn't say stock turbo is greater than Stage 3. cause its not... But once again, It's pretty sad and proves how ghey S3 really is becuase we're even having this debate....
I know what the next run should be...
Yuriel's (909srt4) stock turbo or Phil's (TurboHighPSi) SST vs Ted on HOM/Dab3.
I cant speak on Julio's race.. I dont know anything about it.
Stage 3 isn't for everyone, just like a tweaked stock turbo, or 50 trim isnt for everyone.
Alot of people buy S3 kits, throw it on a car with other bolt ons and expect to be gods gift to the streets, but it doesnt work like that. I raced another S3 car with similiar mods and there was a pretty big difference.
As for the HOM thing, I never raced with it. I threw it in to play around with it, but never had any chances to race someone with it in. That being said it is fairly common knowledge that a certain W/I company makes a kit designed to allow a S3 car to run HOM on pump gas. So techinally a S3 car could be running around on HOM 24/7 if the owner was so inclined.

I remember you
A Roush N/A truck (Charging it this fall)... I got beat down by the cops when I got moved up near Seattle. They are nuts up here. So I sold the SRT to some kid, and apparently he is still alive.
He emails me asking me what to do next, I got him to head towards a Big wheel S3 mod.
this thread blew up!!.. just seems like people are comparing apples to oranges again.. this often happens when diff. turbo set ups are compared.. all set ups have their pros and cons and having no driver mod will immediately turn any bad ass set up into shit.. you cant win them all .. there will always be that one that got away
I guess MnM hasn't been getting the recognition he deserves. I'm tempted to post MnMs racing vids when I get home from work. Beating a bolt-on EVO with NOS and EVOS from a dig, ftmfw.
Sungod Motorsports, what you people know bout dat? #1 MnM nutswinger and lover.
