Default LTLVIPR is gone....

Hey everyone. Thanks for all the great memories. I recently got a great trade in and practically stole a 05 Crossfire Limited off the dealer lot, so I could not pass up the deal. I wanted something more reliable, a warranty, and a comfortable ride for my commute from Upland to redlands 5 or 6 days a week.

I learned a lot while owning my SRT, namely, if it broke, fix it yourself. Jeff, Mike, Jason, George and the Twins, thanks for all the time and expertise you have given me.

Crossfire???? Yawn....

Unless its the SRT-6, its not worth it IMHO.

Should have saved up more and got the kickarse SLK with the 6 speed STICK and more powerful V6 than the Crossfire. Looks better, its faster and its BENZ.

To each his own, but I've don't quite understand people trading in their SRT-4's for things like Z's (slower, so what if it handles better its RWD its suppose too), RX8's and other nonsense. I got this car to wipe my arse with your cars no matter where you are, strip, street, Willow Springs, doesn't matter.

This is the LAST Neon I will ever own and I'm not going to buy some medicorce sportcoupe like the Crossfire. Next car might actually be another SRT-4 because this one is fun, a total blast to drive and I don't have hang ups by what women think and other bs like that. If I wanted to floss you floss right, get a Bimmer or Benz, M series or AMG if your wallet can hang.

wow...thanks for the worthless post. I dont think i was asking your opinion.

Anyways....... thank J. I love the car, quiet, comfy, nice ride. And i paid about the same price for my SRT, so hey, good all the way around.

And back to the jack ass, its not all about speed. Sometimes, ya gotta grow up.

and youre right, it is the last neon you will own, they stopped making them.

God bless the internet

Wow paid about the same price eh? That is a good deal Post up some pix!

And I agree with you, its not all about speed. Having a little bit of luxury is nice too! In any case, its not like the Crossfire is slow as hell, its just not an SRT4. The outside/inside is about 10x more refined than the SRT I'll give it that too.

I love my SRT but for my next car Im lookin for something with a little more luxury. It'll be hard for me to decide on a more luxury sedan tho. So many to choose from in all price ranges!

Dont be a dumb fuck. no one asked your opinion. So get off of your Srt4 high horse, and come back down to reality.

Congrats man! Good luck with the new car

Hey dude, congrats on the new car, those are blast to drive around, I know HT and I had a shitload of fun at that Dodge drive event at Tustin last year, we had our own little auto-cross goin...turned off the trac control, and threw that baby sideways.....a helluva fun ride for sure. I got to drive the SRT-6 a few months laster at a dealer, and of course it was faster, but the regular crossfire is kick-ass on it own, have fun, and drive safe man, c ya around hopefully!!

Eh... I am a grown ass man...

Here's the difference. I buy what I want, not what others THINK I should have and the statement that sometimes you have to grow up is just as stupid as somebody saying I shouldn't date white women... Who said was I immature for making that statement?

I know the Crossfire is made by Karman, big deal its a car that appealed to those over 50 to start with, do your research.

If I wanted to appear MATURE to somebody, I would still buy a REAL Benz or Bimmer WAY before the Crossfire. Even the IS350 or another sports sedan would be a better choice. For the record the SLK is the same car, just UPDATED unlike the Crossfire that uses outdated hardware, I can't stand using yesterday's technology...

Its always about SPEED my friend, at least for me. If I wanted comfortable I could have bought a nice used Caddy, you know every black man has to have one, shhh both my stepfather and father have one (in fact the same model and year), maybe I should follow suit?

Of course they used to call my pops "GTO Tom"...

So yes its ALWAYS been about SPEED for me.

Its just an opinion and the real difference is, I'll still tell you to your face that I wouldn't have bought a Crossfire.

To each his own but you posted on a public forum you have to be willing to accept all PUBLIC OPINION, even if you don't agree with it.

I think puting someone down after just spending their hard earned money on a car they like is very immature.

Again, no one asked for your opinion about what YOU should be driving. He bought what HE wanted.

why is this guy still wasting his time?

lol

anyways, i love the new car. 25 out the door for a new car, she may not be as fast as the SRT, but no turbo problems, no lag(the whole engine is lag j/k) But i get just as many looks if not more in this car than my loud ass, attention getting SRT. DOnt get me wrong, I loved that car, but i didnt want to dump money into it, and it hasnt been running well for a couple months. They paid it off flat out, and i stole the crossfire off the lot. The car is actually worth more right now used than i paid for it. Not too shabby.

In the end you drive a neon..lol just joking. I had so much fun, and learned so much in that car. Again, I bought it cause its what I WANTED not what some yahoo on the internet said i should have bought.

I miss the greddy BOV, but all in all, easier to drive, more comfortable, and sexy as hell.

Please, go to the honda forums, and talk shit. I am a SRT lover, and always will be, but my new car is better suited to my current lifestyle.
