Maybe I'm reading that wrong but that is a bit harsh.
See my turbo took a dump on me, and while i'm at it, I figure Ill do the head gasket and timing belt so I dont run into any future problems. The turbo,charge pipe,intercooler piping,intake manifold,throttle body,valve cover,battery,battery tray,intake etc. are all off. I havent tooken off the cams yet because my head gasket hasnt came in yet and should be here anytime now. Were moving in 20 days and my car is in my garage right and it's really been stressing me. I need someone experienced to help me on this. So I would need somebody to drive to me, ofcourse I will provide the gas money, food and depending what kind of person you are other demands(booze,cash etc).

but if all the part are already off..then its a high price. what needs to be done? getting the pulley off? i should have charged nutz for that then. timing belts are a biatch. and a garage mechanic that has been on neons for 8 years can definately do it. ive done it about 5 times. and need to do one in the future pretty soon.
i resent the backyard mechanic theory. knowledge of the car goes farther than gen ed.
