i love it when people talk shit about them.... how many blown srt engines have there been so far???? 10 maybe???? 2 were from dave running over 500hp through them

i meant that he blew 2 engines, but was running 500 hp through them, so the reliability factor isn't really there anymore

i think the others i've heard of blowin stuff up were big HP guys...

True dat!

Dave was spinning his to 7500 rpm. Not to mention he had 10.0:1 compression and was running 30+ psi.

thought it was 10.5:1... either way, with all that, he's asking for trouble....


although, its amazing that he could do all that with this block.... 30 psi @ 10:1 compression??? and 1k rpms higher than anything the factory puts out.... crazy... in a good way

That GT35 spooled instantly on that set-up. I think once standalones become a little more mainstream 500WHP will be pretty common.

yup... that's what i was gonna look for as a goal... but i was looking more like 8k rpms if possible, but lower tq... like 350 tq 350 tq @ 8k rpms= 533 hp.... very streetable, and PWNS on the highway
