good luck to you , and yes its always bad when the doctor says he is gonna probe and when he starts you notice both hands on your shoulders... since the surgery is up top then a swollen bottom should not be a concern...lol j/k and you might want to check your chart before they start, it may have been switched with the guy who is getting fixed.....no worries,

Good luck Richard! I hope everything goes smoothly and you don't wake up with a butt ache. They sometimes take pics you should ask them.

I have pictures of my colon. I posted pre-polyp and post polyp pics a while back.

Thanks alot guys, I appreciate it, i'll post up as soon as im feelin up to it for sure.

This is what it's for.....

about 1.5 to 2 years ago, I noticed my right ear was kinda getting plugged up, so I went to get it checked out, and after trying to flush out my ear, they noticed my ear canal was very thin.

They sent me for an MRI, and then I had to move down here from Washington, after my insurance kicked in down here I was sent for a CAT scan, and they noticed something thats called "Fibrous Bone Displasia".

Basically that means that I have a fibrous bony growth on my skull near my ear. Imagine looking at the side of someones head, and picture something the diamater of a softball growing there that shouldn't be.....

My one side of my skull is 6 or 7 times thiker than the other side. There's nothing that they can do at the moment, except for the surgery that is basically going to remove the bone that is obstructing my ear canal, and that interferes with my hearing. They're going to have to run tests and see what exactly the bone is composed of, they also told me that for now it's benign, but that it could become cancerous.

So we'll have to see what happens.

I appreciate all the kind thoughts, from all of you, I thank you for your prayers also.

And yes, If I wake up with a sore butt, and a surgeon standing next to me with a big smile, I'm gonna be a little worried...

Good luck there man. That's pretty upsetting to here about your situation though. Just be strong and don't say a word if you wake up with a salty mouth.
