RT is not factored in ET at all. You can sit at the tree for 40 seconds and still run an 11. As a matter of fact, it is common practice to just say screw RT, and try to get your Launch RPM's right before taking off. Most people do that when they're going for the best ET they can get, which is probably what this car did.
