I am working on a senior-level project, and I need some help with secret shopping a restaurant (Red Robin San Dimas). Specifically, I would like to record and analyze how the restaurant deals with a breakdown in procedure (i.e. an over/undercooked burger or an incorrect modifier). The problem is, it is hard to observe how mistakes are handled by only observing sections, and hoping that mistakes are made.
That is where you would come in. I need your help for many reasons. One, they wont know you and will then treat you like a normal guest. Two, I cant do it while I am in the restaurant observing, because people always act differently when they know they are being watched.
If you are interested, I will need as many people to do this as possible to give me a decent overall view of what is happening operationally.
If you are interested, please pm me or post here ASAP.
I will ask that you fill out a quick survey, and each person will be given a different scenario to act out. I have ok'd this with the general manager, and he knows that people will be coming in.
I really appreciate any help you can give me!
