Help plz is for my friend read plz
my buddy just bought a 1998 V8 5.2 dodge ram truck, now acting weird. problem is everytime he start the eng, and try to take off, the truck feels like surging, like missed fire. so he kinda have to baby the throttle , and play with it... till it warm up. after warm up, it drive like normal..... took it to some shop spend about $400 for the tune up..... and the guy said is the valve is sticking? cost $1600 to fix. so i did some research. some people said pour a quart of transmission fluid to the motor oil and let it run.? i'm not sure about that so any help? thanks
