State Ref Ticket. Been asking around, talking to a few cops. Apperently even if you pay you ticket you still have to show correction. Cops are hell bent on stopping us and citing us. Even if we fight it and claim that we were stopped for no reason, it won't matter. We still have done illegal work to our cars.
I'm keeping my stuff cuz it's all going back once I'm signed off.
I'm looking to purchase the center section and stock down pipe (cat) of the exhaust. Also the intake tube from the air box to the turbo and the lower portion of the airbox. If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it.

I thought paying bail meant you don't have to get corrected. Can someone please confirm this?
I talked to a couple of officers that said the bail amount is for the citation and but if its a ref ticket than you still had to get it corrected and show proof to the judge.

ccharless said he went through it and paid the bail and he didn't have to get a correction. this makes sense because if the bail doesn't get you out of anything, why would anyone pay it? not to go to the policeman's ball i tell you

that sucks dude... i didnt think the cops down there were on that shit like half the rest in the state. its just as bad in victorville and hesperia up here now. they've tryed to pull me over for "tail lights being out" and all kinds of shit! its a joke these days

Out of the fucking blue. We were looking for a tune shop in culver fucking city. We got lost cruising down a residential ( 3 of us by the way) when the first cop that made the initial stop said " you pull over, you pull over, you pull over." then he busted a bitch and called fer back up. We were doing no more than 20 mph! He was all excited, probably cuz he was fresh outta what to look fer under the hood class. He said " What ya got under the hood? WAIT!!! Don't tell me, I'll figure it out."
OKAY!!! I said "fuck it!!!" and I ordered a K&N C/A Kid tested CARB approved.
So now I'm just looking for a center section of the exhaust system. Eric, I'll take you up on using the stock D/P and don't tell Maria I ordered the C/A. Thanks.
