Default Fuel Foul Up on Miramar Marine Corps Base

Bwahahah

Check this out.. A couple days ago this one gas station on my base had a major foul up.. For about 3 hours.. They were mistakenly selling gas for cheaper than normal.. no not $2.33/$2.43/$2.53 for the different grades.. Nope.. They were selling it for the low low price of $.23/$.24/$.25 a gal! People were filling their entire takes for like $3 hahahahha That word spread like wildfire and the line was like almost a mile long on base! I had already filled up the day before , but I would have laughed my ass off at the person who was just about the fill up after waiting in line like that when they jack the price back up..

Just thought that was kinda funny!

I heard of that happening at a couple stations in San Diego before, you'd think they'd notice their business increasing 200% and somehow be losing money .

Hey.... pssst can you sneak me off some AVgas?

Damn, that's almost better than the malfunctioning beer can vending machine we had in our barracks in the Phillipines

Can't understand the psychology of people who line up for hours to save a few bucks on gas. If someone offered $20 or $25 to people to sit in their car for a couple of hours, how many people would do it? I've seen them line up for blocks to save .50 a gallon.
