The dude was taillin' me as I was coming down this little road not far from my house so I was hoping he was going the same direction. We went down this street and I took off...he didn't follow. I slowed up..he got even and then took off... I was boggin' in 2nd gear about 2500 rpms so It took me a second to get into boost. Only got 15 psi through the top of 2nd and we were even. Right as I shifted into 3rd gear I began to leave him behind. I was pullling away pretty good and the light changed...I went through (still yellow) and he slammed on his brakes to stop. I don't think we got above 65 mph. To his cred he had some people in the car and I was empty. I was impressed by the speed it put down but I could tell from a dig I would have had some car lengths by the top of 3rd. Not a bad little ride though, i'm sure he suprises a lot of people with it. They would give a stock srt4 a good race ..but I still think even a stock srt would have won.

A properly driven stock SRT-4 will KILL a stock Mazdaspeed 3, case closed...
Let's find some of these MS3 ridazs. They are only fast if you MAKE a mistake... No wheel hop, excessive wheel spin or mis-shifts and your GOLDEN.
Hell yeah, I can tell the car had balls, but it was lacking a little bit. Bring your brother to the meet one night... i want to get a closer look at it
