For those of us who like to drive fast.....
California Highway Patrol will launch a 30-day speeding ticket frenzy in South Orange County starting January 25, 2006. The state estimates that 22 million dollars will be generated in speeding tickets. 3 million will go to pay California Highway Patrol officer overtime. There will be 90 California Highway Patrol officers on duty at all times patrolling the 7 freeways. They are the following: 73, 55, 133, 241, 57, 5, 605 freeways.
Now 7 mph above the limit can justify a ticket and every California Highway Patrol officers is supposed to pull a car over and write a ticket every 10 minutes.
They have issued 50 brand new unmarked Crown Victoria cruisers and they are bringing all their part timers on full time. If you live or work in South Orange County you must take one of their freeways. It's up to you how fast you are doing when they do. This is a test by the CHP to raise the extra funds for the State of California. The wealthy folks of South Orange County can afford this new tax. The California State Legislators dreamed up this law to help close the budget gap or something like that. I was told KICU-FM confirmed all of this. So be safe and don't forget speeding tickets are on you.
funny thing is when i broke down, this black unmarked car rolled up and shined its lights on me and i was like what the heck? and he drove off so i have seen one of these unmarked car, all black, even dark tented window, lights are inside car cant see them only thing that tells them they are a cop car is the have one light by corner of windshield, and plates say exempt.

I Sure Hope They Repair Ower Pot Hole Highways With The Money And Not Fill Ower Legislators Pockets With The Funds.
why on earth would they do that? it would make people happy, and spend less money on vehicle repairs. why not line their pockets with the money from our tickets, then line their pockets buy keeping money that is supposed to repair roads, then line them by cleaning up on the taxes and fees we pay on repairing a vehicle.

I sometimes take the toll rodes when I go to a client down in Irvine (coming from Pasadena). They will generate TONS of tickets there because not only did I but tons of others just rocketed down that road.
how do you go 7mph over the limit when there is a car 2 feet in front of you 12 hours out of the day?
I think they should just triple the littering fine and get revenue that way. Oh yeah and make DUI offenders pick up trash on the side of the road at 3am where more drunks can hit them back. Can i be governer now?
i just saw about 30 undercover cars in a parking lot next to the 15 freeway..some were going on the on ramps different ways..dude this is getting gnarly.
