Don't you have a built motor?

Damn you change your mind to much, if your motor is built you don't have anything to worry about man. People have raised the Rev Limit to 7k on stock motors.

Our block is pretty strong, and with your financial situation, I think you may have a problem trying to switch set ups again.

aftermarket pistons/billet pump.

stock rods. afaik, stock rods are good to 550.

the car just shakes hardcore at 7k. and my belt skipped a tooth and now have to buy a tensioner, and pay for all that labor.

this shit blows!

and i gotta drop helllla dough for my rims/tires.

Yeah if you can just come across some straight trades, that should work, and possibly be a bit safer for you. You won't have the same outcome though.

i might just downgrade to 2.0 cams...again. lol

that with a ported head. no larger valves, just a race port job. ill still prolly be able to pass smog w/ that setup. and will hold its power to 6500 w/o dropping hard, if at all.
