i was a huge metal head. i took guitar lessons for 3yrs straight. and during like my last 6-8months my teacher and i took master of puppets apart into pieces and mastered that whole cd from the 1st page in the tab book to the last.


i just like screamo/indie's simplicity and their voices.

not my taste. im picky as a mofo about the vocals.

you could have the same instrumentals, but if the voice doesnt fit, then it aint right.


prime example: fear and in faith

band had an amazing singer. he bounced, they replaced him. same type of music and voice genre obviously, but it just didnt do it for me.

si senor...i know what you mean. I'm kind the same way in certain areas. Example Hopes Fall. Old stuff kickass. Singer got replaced and now the bands last ablum sucked ass. But I know what you mean about shit going bland

Back in 8th grade I fucking loved pop punk, new found glory (big time), blink 182, finch, etc. I was rocking all of those boys and more all the time. I started to faved out of that and get into more harder shit. I have an understanding of where you are coming from. I still can still listen to that stuff and still dig it, just not as much as I used too.

So yeah I got what cha mean mang

after listening to Aviate I definitely think Mike's taste in music is the almost exact same as mine lmao

AtoA is awesome as well.

Yeah finch is still tight. I agree. Newer shit some didn't like but I think its kool.

They aren't that bad...just some of the vocals that go as high as a girls with some singers bugs me. But the guy from coheed i can stand.
