Default To the black 97 SVT Cobra on Interstate-8 in El Cajon this afternoon

Just wanted to say I had a good time playin with ya. Didn't really have a chance to air out the topend to much but we both got a feel for what wouldve happened. Having my Wife in the car is what kept me from truly lining up with you. Im sure you understand.

I'm curious about your mod list and will certainly share mine if you find this. Im assuming you are running an H-pipe, no cats, larger catback, possibly headers and an intake. No heads/cam Im assuming.

Your expressions where great as was your attitute so I wanted to put this out here incase you came lookin.

Just say when and where to verify its you and we can trade info on our cars, cool? Nice runnin with ya.

Jason

Oh well..worth a try.

According to what i looked up for your car, depending on the year it actually was, it had either 305 or 320HP stock. Your exhaust stank of no cats and the car was pretty loud. Im thinking my guess above was pretty close on your mods.

It felt pretty damn good to pull on you with both of us in my car and only you in yours. You shaking your head after I pulled on you was priceless.

Im really impressed with how my little Neon did, considering I only have S2/no toys and an exhaust. I was patting it on the dash sayin GOOOOD CAR!

For all those people thinkin their stockish Mustang GTs will walk S2 or S1/WGA cars..think again. This guys Cobra has some work done and sounded quite mean. He was doing high rev throttle stabs at around 70mph and the car was just jumpin! I didnt think I had anything for him..until I gave it a shot. I think we were both kind of shocked!

Thanks PVO. I love my little car!

I went looking for a post about what happened, but there are quite a few stang forums so I didnt want to take the time just to come up empty.

Low 14s eh? Seems low considering the GTs are low 14s at 265hp, correct? That would make sense tho considering I was catching up even when he got the jump. Im guessing I had atleast 200Lbs more in my car than he in his, also. He was a little dude and Im pushin 250..plus my Wife was with me.

I think we both had fun tho. wee!
