Anyone raced there before? I'm thinking about going up there this weekend if its not cancelled. I heard it is a lot better than going to the Q. Anyone else have any input??
its a very sticky track. people have broken axles on DRs, even falken azenis. but be forwarned...you have to run a great time to get some respect. they mostly cater to the big v8 guys...the same ones that run at the Q. so like low 8s is good. if not dont go.

well, thanks for the heads up, but I don't go out there to hang on everyone else's nuts. I just want to run, I'll be in the high 8's mayybe. lol. I'm going with some v8's so no big deal. I just want to see how it is up there compared to the parking lot...errrr, the Q. By the way, what should I be looking to get as far as time with trap speed??? I have a Mopar S2 WGA on Stock PCM. Thats it. At the Q last time I went, I got a 9.38 @ 78.xx mph bone stock w/ 1000 miles on the car. So with better track prep I'm hoping for a lil better et and trap.

I ran there in December. Track is prepped realy well. You'll cruise in and all you will see are V-8 cars and full drag cars trailered in. Dont be intimidated, alot of them are just smoke and noise makers. Running an 8.6 I wasnt even close to the slowest car there. It is very possible to break an axel there. I was side stepping my clutch at 6500 and would get almost no tire spin.

Thanks, but I was stock when I ran at the Q. Socalfuturesrt4owner ran a 9.2 that night too. He was stock as well. Now I have the S2 wga on the stock PCM for Barona, Hopefully I can do better than those times and trap @ 80+mph. I got stage 2 w/toys waiting with bolt ons, but I want to see what a simple S2 wga will do.
