Your insurance company inspected your car? I have the same ic. I have Mercury and they didn't come out and inspect my car. What if you went with another company?

Maybe he called the insurance so if he gets into an accident they'll cover the FMIC and they told him to take it off or we'll drop you.

think about it, he only had the FMIC for 2 weeks?? How else did they find out in that short amount of time??

Just giving you shit man, don't take it personally.

Werd...didn't think about that...

My insurance covers anything physically attached to the car.....as long as I can show proof of ownership. I had to scramble to get some receipts faxed when my stereo was stolen, but they covered all the aftermarket junk....

i have a bfmic on before when i got into an accident a month ago, mercury tow the car to their own body shop to get it repair.... thats how mercury insurance know that i dont have the front crush bar, and the damage could of been less then 10k if i have the crush bar.
so now they gave me 5days to install the crush bar and the stock intercooler or they will drop my insurance. they already took a picture with the aftermarket intercooler on the car. i guess no more bfmic for me.....

I see.

Could you use the after market BFMIC crash bar? Probably not now since they've already took pictures. I better look into getting one.

10K???

If you hit something hard enough that caused 10K in damage, chances are the crashbar wouldn't have helped.

dude, the damage didn't that bad for 10k. is the frame bent??? If not take the 10K, get a front bumper, hood, and have the fender fixed and your good. Should cost no more than 2k keep the other 8 grand for yourself.

LOL. The crash bar wouldn't have helped there. It only helps if the car is hit directly in front. That looks like a corner hit to me. But yeah I bet you the adjuster is just giver u a hard time.
