It's a super high risk investment for the bank, why give you a loan for 13k on a vechicle that is realalisticly only worth 3-4k?
Usually insurance companies will have a field day on you for it also.
then there is regestering it, registering a salvaged vechicle is stupid hard. Make sure the vechicle has that certificate from the DMV stating it's returned to acceptable condition or however they phrase it.
bottom line, pay cash and don't register/insure it (race car) or keep looking.
mine is a salvage title. it cost me normal price to register it, but since i didn't pay tax on it (bought cash) in WA i had to pay it here. i have it fully insured also for maximum coverage through titan auto ins which used to be eastwood. when i bought it, it was in 06 (its an 05) with 14k on the clock. now its got 90k on the clock, running strong, looking like new and i never did body work or anything there are some good salvages out there, just keep looking.
Thanks for everything guys but the banks said nope i was just going to get a credit card for the car but as mole said it was a POS and the guy lied he said he had a STG2 on it plus the cars looked way different then the craigslist Photo.
