Default anyone know about out of state license laws for CA?

my license got suspended recently over a ticket i got a while back for walking home with a beer

here are the implications , i was drunk , under 21 , walking home , with a beer in my pocket (i threw out the one i had in my hand before the cop saw me)

i go to court ordered to pay a 300 dollar fine and my license is suspended for something i wouldnt ever do in my car

i want to know if i could get a license in AZ or even mexico and drive around here with that license? there's got to be some sort of loophole besides the restricted license that allows me to get to work and school because my only other escape other than drinking and getting with girls was just getting in my car and driving with the windows down , music off listening to my wastegate and surgevalve

Nope, go back to the judge and make up some BS excuse. Its alled Hardship, say that your mom relies on you to take her to work, or that no one lese can take you to work or school except you. He will let you drive at certain times.

yes, even if you arent in a car - if you are under 21 and they catch you with alcohol, you can lose your license for a year! shitty- i know

you should be able to get the "drive during certain hours to and from work/school" thing like these other guys were saying though

on the 2nd license.. i have heard of people doing it, BUT it is illegal.. you cannot have 2 licenses legally.

Exactly what he said.......

Get the "work/school hours driving permit"....

As far as 2nd licenses...

1st: You are a resident of CA (you are required to have a CA license)

2nd: Your car is probably registered in CA (you need to explain why you have a AZ license, but a CA registered car), and

3rd: All the Cop has to do is run your name in the CA DMV (no matter what state you are from) and if it comes up as suspended, your car is gone for 30 days.....no questions asked... you pay the impound fees for all 30 days.

Also, Mexican licenses are not recognized in CA. You might as well be driving with your NIX check cashing card....

A #1 rule... get your legal advice from a lawyer.
