Default Anyone got a hookup on some 17" tires? 225's

I dont want to remove and remount half worn tires onto my new wheels. They don't have to be the best.

If you give me till sunday I can have an answer for you. I go to church with the western division manager of kumho tires. Last time I bought a set of 17s for my old neon I paid 52 dollars/tire for 205 40 ZR17s. They were the ecsta supra 712s...damn good tires for the money. 225 45s should be no more than 75/tire but don't quote me on it till sunday

i paid just under 4 bills for mounted balanced and road hazardedeedd tires at firestone. i am unhappy with their cheapie 225 tire. I should have gone with some mustang tires with my high rise suspension i bet they woulda fit fine. the 17x8 stretch them too much but oh well def get what you pay for.

I'll let'cha know the price on em then you guys can go from there. I don't want to take a huge advantage of him as my dad is getting tires for his 98 ram this weekend too lol. Come to think of it I need to get me some new tires soon too...I plan to be one of the dangerous ones and go 225s on the stockers too

damn man... that doesn't sound safe... going by our forum wheel and tire guidelines anyway...

if anyone needs tires my friends shop has some great prices they are local, based out of huntington beach... you order and pick up there. you basically get internet prices without having to pay for the shipping, which basically kills it every time i myself am ordering 225/45/17 bridgestone potenza re-01's tomorrow morning, my tires are freaking horrible in the front... good thing is i'll have some spare 205/50/17's... the ones in the back are like 90% new

i found a hole in the wall place right next to Autozone in El Cajon, cant remember the name of the place, but they only charged me $40 for all 4 tires mounted and balanced.

I ordered mine from Oregon, so i didnt pay the taxes, but i still payed for the shipping, evened out i think. I got the Toyo Poxie T1R's $820 shipped (2 day shipping) to my door. not sure if that is a really good price or average.
