Default 925 race results - short...but w/ a vid (soon)

alrighty...so heres the break down tonite.

i told the vette i wasnt going to race because of some ebc issues and i was on pump, so he didnt show.


while at our meet, i called out a procharged stang...he neglected.

went to our spot and only got 1 run...security popo came twice...and the 2nd time he stopped and looked at us so we bounced.

prior to that, D raced geezer.

D-rok: hx40. 25psi. 110oct. full bolt ons. stock head/cams/tb.

Geezer: 23 psi. 47lb s3. HOM. 110. meth i believe. full bolt ons. 62mm tb.

first run: NECK AND NECK. both brake boosted...luckily it helped drok out a bit because spool woulda hurt him.

2nd run: iffy..both werent sure when to go and geezer might've gotten the pull? after both gettin on it, geezer kept pulling.

security showed after and we all bounced. drok went home w/o racing again.


every1 was standing at the gas station. no1 wanted to run. i was pretty pissed since reed drove 40min out to tape the runs on last minute call.





i get jason/geezer to agree to do 1 pull on the freeway from 3rd on his way home. i had 1 exits worth of pull to do my run since that was the last exit for quite a ways.

me: 50trim/.48ar. 20psi. 91PUMP. meth. full bolt ons. cams at 0,0.

Jason: 47lb s3. HOM. 23psi. 100oct. meth.

go on 3honks. no brake boost. DEAD EVEN. shift into 4th, still close then as we neared top of 4th he pulled about 1car total.

jason said he had trouble w/ shifting into 4th...and i believe him. his tranny is 100k+ miles.

it is what it is.



reed has video, and will post when he gets home.
sucks the runs got cut short...but it is, what it is.
hopefully next week, i will get the runs in w/ the SC'd vette, procharged stang, and against jason on race vs. race.




fwiw, jason dyno'd today. 416hp/416tq on race/hom and 23psi. (congrats BTW jason! beautiful dyno)
that will give you an idea of where im at on my 20psi/pump tune.



some changes will be done this week.
a new tune from SCT (right now is 20* rising to 25)...it will now be 22* rising to 28*. also changing my boost controller out.

just the extra timing alone should make me dead even w/ jason pump vs. meth. i will come out full swing on race gas/meth/25psi tho hopefully.

how much do vettes weigh?


i am REALLY curious to see that vette when my head is on, cams tuned, fully sct tuned...on 28psi.

should put me right around 480/480 id suspect. being lighter...i might hav an edge...?


i love this turbo. torque is instant. as youll see in the video...seemed to spool ever so slightly faster than the 47lb s3...barely.
and at 20psi, its making damn near 400hp on pump w/ no tune whatsoever on low timing. i still have alot of play room to go on pump...the whole purpose of the car; to be a pump king.



just waiting on reed to get the vid up.

hopefully will bring more runs in next week...

That vette ways 3150, however with the SC it may be up to 3200- 3250.
He could have some heavy HP though, it all depends on what he has, so depending on what he actually does have done, it may be a very good race.

The turbo sounds sick, I keep asking why everyone with 50Trims didn't do that in SoCal, because I think it is a great match.

Vette > Drastic......

oo way lighter than i thot...i thot vettes were 34-3600?

ill get handed probably...but if im around 480, itll definately be a close 1. im pretty sure he said it did 50xhp.

i wont let the Drastic. peeps be dissapointed tho. that race will be after my head.

Yeah, most people think they are heavier than they are. They are to much heavier than the SRTs.

It will be a good race once your all said and done.

I got off work tonight just after 11 pm dude... Worked from 9 am till then. I am super tired but I can't sleep. I can't wait to get my setup and join you folks in the fun

when the head goes on, im doing some meth changes and more boost.

24psi on pump/meth w/ the head = hopefully like 430s.

With the head and the same amount of boost, you'll still make more power (more air will be getting on and out), but you know that. Hopefully I will find out more information on how long the porting is going to take tomorrow.
