2 things in 29 Palms - SRT Forums

1. It was couple Fridays ago.. it just got dark out and a SILVER SRT-4 was running with me off base heading into town.. and it was fun while it lasted but ya got broke like 2 or 3 times.. ..the third time at the light it was ugly... and ya had your woman in the car... lol By the way, I was in a 92 Mustang Hatchback that was primered black and has a cage in it. peace

2. There is a yellow one on base.. ..we unfortunately only had the chance to get on it for about 100 feet. Car sounded strong but who knows.

Also, there are like a dozen SRT-4 on base here... ...I personally do not have or want to own one.. ..So if anyone spots me in my new ride
(WHITE 03 COBRA) give me some headlights and I will return the greeting.

hello...lunchbox here....i have run numerous stangs in the area, but yours does not sound familiar at all....remember, there are a shit-ton of SRT4s up here, so it couldve been anyone, and not all the guys up here are on the forums either. there is one silver SRT4 up here that is owned by a girl and she lets her boyfriend drive it with her in the pass seat all the time. my guess is that is who you saw. was the girl american? my wife is korean and my windows are tinted pretty dark, so i hihgly doubt you saw me and my wife, but it is possible i guess....

if you are tinking of the same yellow SRT4 i know of, you wouldnt stand a chance. its a stage 3 with all the supporting mods and a itty bitty tiny guy driving it and he can drive good. it used to belong to my friend ed, and when ed owned it, it put down 300hp 300tq to the ground, and since then, i think john ( the new owner ) has done even more to it.

heres my car....look familiar? it runs a 13.1 @107 on street tires...might be a good run if you wanna try it out.....

i do stand a chance.. and i really thing with 1 of the 2 cars i have, i will get em.. with 388/409 to the wheels i think it would be who of a 300/300 car to get broke off. LOL

anyways.. the silver one was possibly the one you are talking about.. i actually seen her today...

also.. there is a brand new WRX on base and i was in the 03 and he tried to contest to no prevail.. ..peace

i'll race either of yours cars, i dont care. i just get bored and am looking for something to do and someone to hang out with sometimes. if you see me around, let me know its you somehow and we'll see whats up.

side-note: i dont have my exhaust on the car anymore cus i sold it, so im back to stock for the time being, so it wont be any contest im sure, but i'll still run you. and then when i get my new exhaust, we have to run again.

wait a second...i HAVE seen a pretty badass white cobra up here before, but that was a LONG time ago...a middle aged guy driving it with long dark hair....is that you? if so...i wont race your cobra...lol, well, ill race it, but ill prolly be watching your taillights the whole time...if thats your car, then i already know how fast it is....

LOl cool, no that was not me.. i have had this Cobra for about 10 days now... ...I have been on the base for about 2 years and still have no one to kick it with.. maybe because i am married... who knows.. i know today I am staying on base vice heading home.. ..i am heading to the car wash here on base to wash the cobra and put on my new BRA. as silly as a bra may look.. i will not have to worry about bugs, and road debris phukin up my front end... the car has very few pits in it and I would love to keep it that way...

i am curious to who possibly has the fastest car on base.. ..i in no way will not claim that title.. but definately curiosu to has what...

I have seen your car a few times... my Cobra has a NHRA front license plate.. at least til i get my plates in the mail.. if a cop tries to hit me for it i will tell him to look at the temp in the window.

Some may ask why i post here... one of my best friends had a black 04 SRT-4 that put 390/405 to the wheels until he wrecked it...

also.. there was a black SRT-4 opn the I-10 last week i came accross at about 4am.. it had no wing and had stickers all on it.. black rims.. he came up on me fast but when i dropped it into 3rd and was ready.. he would not go... so i said screw it and dropped back down to the speed limit..

And the number of high desert SRT-4 owners that are active on the forums to the actual amount of SRT-4's in the area is really small. What, only a couple others I think?

i think its just me, you (eric), and bigfmic....i cant think of any other people from the hidesert that actually post on here . the rest just troll around and watch, but never say anything. there are over a dozen SRT4s just in this tiny town of 29 palms...i dunno why none of them ever wanna talk....i try striking up conversation with them occasionally and they never wanna even say hello.
