Let me tell you... his car is awesome. Dave did such a wonderful job.
Rod got the ball bearing turbo upgrade. OMG. That thing sounds so sweet and it's fast... although weather hasn't permitted us to test out the full advantage.
Saturday/Sunday we're going to video tape his dyno and post three dyno sheets (stock, minor mods, and then Dynoworks Turbo Upgrade).
Loving it.
I might have to go to work tomorrow... Rod, Paul, Anthony and Mark are still there finishing Paul's car. Paul's turbo is HUGE.
bah 2:30.. weak! 4:30... boo how bout 5 am? yeah i just got home. haha pulling the infamous all nighter for that stupid meet thing in a few hours Congrats guys cant wait to see it!
I am still waiting to join the bb turbo club myself. I just keep making Dave do more and more stuff and I keep prolonging the whole ordeal.. I am so sad
Congrats Rod and Cat!...I saw it at the CBD event! Really made me want it soo bad! Now i finally know I'm slacking it seems everyone has a new turbo now! You guys are gonna be sleepy tonight!

aahhh come on.......tell the story about my stage 0 '03 racing the 3 big turbo cars on the freeway the last 2 nights....

The three turbo cars are only boosting at 12-14 psi right now and it's not enough for that big of a turbo. Rod's is at 12psi. It's like boosting really low on a stock turbo (think almost half less). Different sizes require different psi boosting. Our numbers flucuated from 250 to 280. Just changing the boost controller up 2 psi gained 30HP, so you can see the power is definitely there, but it's about the programming/tuning. We need more safe boost. We still have to install the intake and downpipe on Wednesday. We'll be ordering our fuel return line kit soon and tuning it again.

Anthony's factory defect beast > upgraded turbo + turbo lag + low boost +stage 0... but not by much. LOL.
Anthony is the guy who walks S2's... Wanna check your car, run him. Most of the time they were neck to neck however, Anthony pulled away.
