since i put on my bov and intake, i was boosting about maybe 14-15 peak and 11 at redline. for some reason, i put on the imfamous $20 catchcan on yesterday and i was crusing to taco bell, and i hit it at about 3k in 3rd, and it spiked to about 17.5psi and fell to 14@ redline. i was quite amazed, so i did it again, and it did it again. i truely do not understand these cars...

temp changes are a mofo... when its nice and cold out, do it again, and i bet you boost 14-15 again

you added the catch can and re-router the emission lines?

research on check valve, that's what it does... but you should be back to 14ish after a while or you just got a boost leak somewhere.

Always remember to take people for a ride and make then watch the boost gauge. Take the in the middle of the summer during a heatwave. 19PSI spikes are cool and no pinging.

Yeah i hit 16 yesterday, if only i could stay consistant. so i also noticed that at idle, my car sounds like its missing almost, like it will be steady, then a little pop, then steady then a little pop. and the motor seems to be moving quite a bit at idle, is that normal? i hate trying to figure out things for the first time. i also idle at about 850-900rpms. thanks.

today, 4th gear 3500 rpms, punched it, jumped past 20psi, what i was guessing to be 23psi? something dosent seem right....
