Yea! How long are you going to be down. Only thing is 11/7 we're heading home from SEMA and NASA @ Las Vegas Speedway. What time?

110 south get off on Torrance blvd, make left on Crenshaw blvd, you will see the Torrance Crossroads sign at the corner of Lomita blvd and Crenshaw blvd. everyone meets up in the Home Depot side of the parking lot in front of the Starbucks. If you need help private message me and I will give you my cell number if you get stuck. I'll be driving down again this weekend from Lompoc.

I heard about this Torrance Crossroads. I live next town. I might stop by. What time are peeps normally arriving to this place? What car normally dominates the meet?

Everyone usually starts arriving about 9:30pm. I hear there is burn out shows on the parking lot, if you arrive around that time.

To my experience, the most interesting cars I've seen/heard:

1. VW Turbo Beetle named "Clutch" that likes to burn his clutch.
2. a black CRX that does around 11's on the track that will rape every car on the Torrance Parking lot and than some.
3. a Ford Mustang that does 9's on the track.
4. a Nissan 350Z that likes to play with his rev limiter. I love the sweet sound of the V-6. I would like a Z ..........
5. a white EVO that likes to go around the lot and looking for a good race.
6. a blue SRT-4 that likes to shoot sparks out of the exhaust.
7. another blue SRT-4 that can actually blow Starbuck coffee cups a few feet from its exhaust.
8. a black spoilerless SRT-4.
9. I have yet to see even a stock SRT-4 ..................
10. a few WRX's & Wagons, but they don't seem to stay too long.
11. a ton of Honda's and Toyotas of every make. They actually are amusing when they do their burnouts. The Asian riceboys & tab fights are quite amusing to watch too. (Yes, I'm Asian too.)
12. Plenty of debadge RSX's. Honestly, I would like to know which one is a Type-S.
13. a few rebuilt 60 - 80's that look like they will be visiting a 1/4 mile track soon.
14. only a handful of domestic cars that have some sort of mods to them. Probably just an intake and exhaust.
15. a couple of VW GTI's and Jettas.
16. a corral of Ford Mustang GT's that usually hang around the In-Out side of Torrance Crossroads. They really know how to make a burn-out.
17. maybe one earlier generation eclipse.
18. a mystery car that is in a trailer in a back lot (I have no idea where the trailer is). These people go around the lot looking for a race AND they will actually give you a 5 second head start before they start.
19. A riced out silver PT Cruiser GT that looks slow.
20. one or 2 cops patrolling the lot from time to time.

I should be there this week, and see what else I can add to my list of interesting cars.

It's a very good scene there. The amount of SRT's seems to very a little depending on work schedules, but the Night I wen't I met a couple Jackie (Black R/T) & Al (Black wingless SRT) and they said they are there every Friday night. It was worth the drive to meet some cool people that are very friendly along with the other drivers. I am trying to make it there any Friday I drive down for the weekend. PTGT Boy is right it seems right around 9:30 was when I saw the second SRT show up and then others started to arrive stagered through out the night. Well I hope to see y'all there Friday.
