Default filter

I have one of your first aem short ram intakes that you released for our srt4's. The filter is what came with the car and looks like it has no life left in it. I can take pictures of it and show you what I am talking about. I have used the recharge kits on a regular basis and it just doesnt flow like it should be. Can I exchange with a newer better filter....or do these not have lifetime warrentys on them? Just wondering since all K&N filters do. I did take off the filter one day at a dyno day and gained 18whp/21wtq just from taking off the filter....so its very restricting, but I must have a filter on the car.

Nope never heard anything. I will just go with another brand. Its been shown to flow more and be more reliable then K&N filters. Most cobra owners use them.

that sucks man, i thought these things had a limited life time warranty? AEM has by far the worse customer support. i had a problem with the AEM UEGO and they didnt return my call at all. i had to call a thousand times, and still couldn't get an answer and left about a billion messages. i just got fed up with them and took it back and got an Innovate LM-1. couldn't be happier. if i could go back i would have gotten a diff. intake,a nd not the crappy AEM.

Yup I tried calling as well with no luck. Oh well I am going to go with a better flowing filter anyway.
