Default Cold Air Intake Warranty *** Important Please Read ***

If you have contacted AEM with your personal info, pictures, etc., I will please need you to contact AEM one more time to the person who will directing this warranty claim. Ky Le will be specially handling the SRT-4 and his email is kle@aempower.com. If you do not have an RGA number please email him immediately so he can track this issue. I highly advise that everyone that has had an issue with the CAS contact Ky immediately. The new kits are getting ready for assembly and the first wave of intakes are leaving AEM tomorrow!

Thank you for your patience, I know everyone will enjoy the new kits.

Ben.

AEMTech

If I remember correctly, when someone asked if we are getting a complete kit, pipe, hose clamps, filter, and so on for a warranty claim, your response was I believe so. Now that the kits are about to ship, is this still the case, are we getting complete kits?

Thanks

Ben.

I have in fact forwarded my email conversations with Josh to Ky just now, my first email with Josh was May 18 2004 (I sent in all the information on May 26th) hopefully mine is one of the units going out today !
AEM please let me know if I need to do anything else here as I am patiently awaiting the new CAS

Thanks
Mike Candler

Ditto, I originally sent my first email on 5/11/04 and then my information on 5/19/04.

I resent the same email to Ky Le last night.

I'll say it again, I appreciate what you are doing.

LOL this is true!! With that said AEM should know how to fill out customs paperwork (and in this case a waranty claim sheet) if they do this we will not have to pay duty/taxes again...if they do not do that I will have to bill them back the charges or I can fill out the paper work and fax it to them LOL.

Does this apply to only SRTs, or 2.0 magnum fitment problems as well?

I was told in an email that I can wait to send the original intake until after I receive the replacement. So I have not done so. I hope this does not affect anything.

At that time, they were not sure if they were going to require us to send in the old intake. I hope not, I don't have the original box and I don't want to pay to have it shipped.

That is the same thing they told me! Also since I am from Canada the added cost for them to pay for shipping back to CA would almost be a waste...now I can certainly send it back if they want but at the time Josh and others at AEM said to wait until the new versions were ready! He also said they may send a return "stamp" with the new unit so you can put the old one in and fire it back!
Either way I am excited to here I will be getting a new unit soon!

AEMTECH- Can you put an end to this speculation? Do we need to send back the old one before you send us a new one?

Do we have to pay for return shipping?

This is why we need clarification from AEM. My email was from Josh at AEM stating what I said previously. This is what I thought was happening. We have been talking to two different people, both have said different things.

I have not sent my intake into them, so I hope this doesn't screw me.
