my friend has an srt-4 and was wondering something...we installed the aem sri and well..it was doing fine until a couple of days ago...it is now boosting up to 20psi w/stock everything except the sri and well...sometimes it even wont let you go over 13psi before the wastegate starts to open up..so im curious if this has anything to do w/the intake or is there like a vaccum leak somewhere..sorry im a newb to f/i and i own something different so i thought id just post this to see whut kinda results i may get. thanx for any info.

AEM extension kit owner ...... dunno whats going on but I'm not getting this problem. I just rest it as far down as it goes to the turbo and I shortened the lil rubber hose that connects to that what ever gasket thingy. Not one scratch/dent on my pipe. Not even when I was still using the AEM Short Ram intake.

Maybe Cause I have a Red 03 ?

Angry aem cai

I bought many aem products that were great, but this is the worst product i have ever got. The way it fits is horrible. The bottom of my hood is now all scratched up.

Check for vacuum leaks since the ECU controls the boost.

Not all CAI are affected, but some are. I advise to contact the warranty dept. jsteed@aempower.com with your info so we provide you with the revised kit.
