Angry Aem Heellllpppp!!!

MY CAI I INSTALLED 2 WKS AGO IS HITTING MY HOOD. I THOUGHT THAT YOU GUYS FIXED THAT PROBLEM? I ORDER THIS PART FROM EAST COAST MOTOR SPORTS AND I'M WONDERING IF THEY SENT HIM THE WRONG PART?

I CAREFULLY HAMMERED THE INSIDE OF MY HOOD AND I WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE IN DOING SO. THIS GAVE IT MINIMAL CLEARENCE. STILL RUBS THOUGH. THE CANDY APPLE RED CAI IS NOW WORN IN 3 AREAS. CAN I SEND IT BACK FOR REPLACEMENT? PLEASE HELP!

BTW. THE TOP BEND THE PIECE WHICH RUNS FROM TURBO.

PLEASE ADVISE

THANKS

ANTHONY AKA JUAN

AEM apologizes for any inconvenience caused from the possible fitment issues of the AEM Cold Air Extension or Cold Air Intake System for the Dodge SRT-4, part numbers 21-425 and 21-426. AEM is currently working on a strategy to solve the problem. As this system is a very tight fit due to the tubing diameter being used, some additional care may be required to ensure a proper fit. In most cases, simply loosening all of the connector clamps and maximizing clearances, and then re-tightening the connector clamps will solve the majority of clearance issues. However, there are some kits in the field which will cause contact between the hood and the intake piping. If you are experiencing this after making the aforementioned adjustments, please contact AEM Customer Service @ 310-484-2322 and speak to Josh, Ext. 203 or e-mail: jsteed@aempower.com. We will need proof of purchase via fax or e-mail of the 21-425 or 21-426 so please have this ready when you contact us.
