Default You might be a redneck if...

you have a v8 on an engine stand in your room and its actually cleaner than your room. LoL

Yee friend is building up a 302 in his room to go in his ranger. the motor has everything as you will see from the pics on the website. It will actually be a 307 after machine work. Project should be done by march and by end of year will have a blower on it. Money takes time to get and he is doing everything himself except the machine work on the head. Well here is the link I hope you enjoy.

Well basically its the same thing in a way.
I think the gear drive would be too tight. Not really any room to give when it needs it. the gear drive has the cam and crank gears with a dual gear in between them, no chain, just gear to gear contact. it's very precise, but i'd just rather a chain break, than the gears chip. plus the gear drive costs out the ass if you go all out. go double roller chain if anything, it spins free'er than the stock one. the gear drive costs more in most cases, is more precise, but double roller is more than what you'd ever need
