Yo!!!! whats ^ i want to know if its true that srt4's break down at around 30-50k?
People keep telling me the same things ,but in a different way. I'm confused, i really want 2 get a srt4 but all this crap i keep hearing is not helping, help me out guys. By th3 way, r mods and upgrades affordable?
you are listening to the wrong ppl.
do they own srt-4's ?
if not then how do they know ?
i have 43,000 miles , over 200 dragstrip runs , and it is my daily driver. only problem i have had was the infamous tps and a broken lower motor mount bolt. and the mods are not that expensive.

WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE!!! honda owners, mustang owners? these cars are solid! they respond well to mods and the mods are cheap. there is a million venders so you can get just about anything your heart desires. who ever tells you this car breaks after 40k miles is a f*ckin retard. a car will last as long as you want, with the right maintenace. the engine\tranny is built to hold up to 500 hp. sure every car has its lemons and minor problems, but the SRT is a stout performer. if your told other wise, they hate losing to a neon and will fill you full of shit!
There's a few on here with 100K, and 1 I know of with 115ish on it still on the stock clutch. No serious problems according to them, except for your regular maintence.
I have 40k miles and only one problem, wheel speed sensor (less than $60 for the part) just went out. Going to order it here tonight (hopefully) and things will be back to normal.
start off by getting used to the car, then exhaust, short throw shifter, wheels and tires (stock wheels are way too skinny to put wider tires on), suspension (sway bars, coilovers or struts and springs), and add power based on whatever your goals are.
