Default would you fill up 93 octane nemore

ive been thinking to start a gas station when i move to cali(just cuz no1 wants 93 octane here) that has 89 91 93 octane instead of 91 being highest.i just wanted to know if u think most people would shell out 10 cents more a gallon for 93? Also like the 76 stations ill sell 100 octane for a fairly inexpensive price but still more then like 4 or 5

there has to be a reason only 91 is offered in cali... in texas you can only find 93... 91 in the mountainous regions.

when your at lower elavations you car runs richer so you would actualy want a higher octane rating. same goes for higher elavations. less air, less fuel required. in the mountains i only run 89 in mine cause anything more is excesive. thats wierd that you can only find 91.

As i understand it, it is related to the additives in the gas. Here in NY we just lost 94 octane due to the additives.

Default Sweet money

all i know is that more people want 87 octane cuz its cheaper. im sure u guys kno but for those who dont, when u harvest gas the good stuff like butane is at the top , so when u make a lot of say 100 octane u get a lot of crappy like 85 octane, so its more expensive since ur losing the lower octane. More people wanted 87 so 93 was ditched and cars like the Celica GTS were screwed. Damnn the EPA and the DOT and whoever was responsible.
