Woman fined for putting make-up on at wheel

Leftlanenews, 09 March 2006 - Law enforcement officials in Britain are having a field day by making an example of a 22 year old woman who was caught driving while putting on her make-up. Donna Maddock was fined £200 for the offense, which took place while she was going 32 mph. She was also given six points on her licence. Ms Maddock was pictured on police spy cameras holding a compact mirror and an eye brush while driving.

Only one was fined? What about the rest?

What about the guy this morning that was reading the newspaper?

supose to be a $500 fine here in IL for driveing while distracted. - but the cops prefer to use that law on people talking on cell phones or screwing with their steros.

Its about damn time. I get pulled over for no front plate, but no girls ever get ticketed for putting on make up. I was behind one lady putting on make up and everytime the light turned green she would sit there. So I had to honk at every freaking light cause she is an idiot.
