No (for an SRT version) and No (RWD) would be my guesses...

The Dodge version is coming though...

i have to say, they did a killer job on the sebring. it looks LIGHT YEARS better than the current one, which is EXTREMELY bland IMO

i'd actually consider driving that for a daily car

I've seen a few of the mules running around the plants here. One was driving out on the road, and the engine sounded nice. I believe it was a dodge version though, not the sebring.

Default I don't like it

I actually like the current version better, the headlights, styling, way too mercedes for me, but I know, some like that.

Also, ANOTHER 4 door, imagine that

I don't understand why Daimler cannot address that gaping hole in their lineup, the one filled with 18 to 35 year old's SCREAMING for a two door sedan.

I gotta disagree with you on that. Having had an 03 Sebring and now an 05 Stratus, I like the clean look of it. That new version is too busy and angular. And that hood looks lifted right off the Crossfire... and I didn't like it there either.

I read something about build sheets and someone said there is an odd model of the Stratus for 07 on it. Maybe an SRT6 Stratus?

"The driver's seat is mounted about 2.5 inches higher than the current Sebring's to give a better view of the road and help it appeal to drivers accustomed to the seating position of an SUV."

Geesh, not EVERYONE likes sitting up high SUV style, when are they going to get this? They replaced the neon with a vehicle that does the same thing, and that's fine, the Caliber is selling like hot cakes, but who wants a performance vehicle (srt4 version) where you sit up high like that? I like being slung low to the road myself. Want to sit up high? Buy a minivan.

Yeah they had a product for that market the Stratus/Sebring coupe and it sold like crap, no one bought them. They cancelled it and mroe than likely will bring out a cheaper smaller coupe, I hope.

There will be an SRT-6 Stratus/Avenger, whatever they name it, should be 2009 according to HemiDakota. Hopefully being developed on the lancer platform with the evo it will share AWD technology but there might be some debate on engine..."six-pack?"

Ebbie, are you referring too a Avenger coupe or the Sebring vert?

AWD will be an option for the Tourer and 3.5-liter V6 on the Sebring.

Both models will be moved to the next stretched LANCER/CALIBER platform in two years.
