some of those guys are claiming that SRT-4s "Arent all that fast". when you look in thier sig, they have a paragraph of mods. most likely, most of the run ins those guys had were stock or S1 cars. yay! you kept up with a stock turbo 4. pft.

I like GTP's a bunch. Although for their price they had a lack of amenities for my taste. (probably because they didnt want it competing with the Bonneville). When my parents were shopping for their Bonneville replacement, i noticed the decked out GTP still didnt have auto-climate control or a power passenger seat.
Someone needs to chime in who knows something and set me straight. I've heard the trans on a GP is rated max at 300hp, if thats so then how are these guys not melting down their transmissions on a constant basis? And if not then what kind of hp can those trans actually take safely?
I read through two pages and they seem pretty straight for the most part. A lot of them give credit to the srt-4 and I felt they (as owners of another car that they obviously care about enough to mod into the 13's) are pretty fair.
I'm surprised - the 'stang forums are a lot less realistic. Guess that is 'cause they bought cars they thought would beat us (HA!) and the GP guys know what they have from the start. I am actually impressed by the # of fast GP's there are out there. Knew they were supercharged, but they sound faster than I thought.
Some people will always talk down about someone elses car to make them feel more confident with their own vehicle. Most on that site give the srt-4 respect.
