Default Wholsesale Gasoline up .21 today

If you need gas, you should think about getting it today. Unleaded gasoline futures were up 21 cents today. The traders (futures traders) are freaking out over the newest hurricane in the Gulf, fearing another massacre of the plants that make fuel again. Oil was up over 4 dollars today. It is really just a huge panic because of what happened with Katrina. Unfortunately, it will affect the price at the pumps.

On top of this, OPEC won't raise the output ceiling.

Next week I hear that there will be 15mph winds from the NE here in iowa, so gas is going to go up a minimum .15 ....rediculous

Hahahahaha....at least you get your oil from OPEC. We don't here in Cali and still they raise the cost. I expect to see it now at 4.00 dollars by spring time.

In the end, those that are buying those contracts are going to regret it. The storm hasn't even threatened the gasoline plants yet. It is pure speculation. Herd mentality. Like I said before though, we ultimately pay for their stupidity at the pumps. Even though the contracts are for the future, it is the oil companies' way of making it look like they need to raise the prices due to the rise of wholesale unleaded gas. It is complete nonsense. In the last week, gasoline futures prices fell alot. Anyone see a 30-40 cent reduction in the price of their fuel? On Friday, wholesale prices fell 13 cents. Anyone see the price at the pump fall 13 cents on Saturday?

In case you ever want to follow this info, here is the link:

I know this is not any info about SRT-4's, but it is relevant since we all need fuel to drive.
