Default what would you do?

okay here is the delima. i love the srt-4 and have been looking into them since it was a concept. i personally love to do my own thing with my car and love to make it my own. well here is the hard part. my dad asked which i would rather have, an srt or an older 92ish nsx. take a second to get over the "bling bling" of the nsx.........................okay now this is my stand point. stock for stock the nsx beats out the srt-4 by only about 2 tenths in the 1/4. also as i said i like to tune my car and wouldnt be able to do so w/ an nsx because of the cost of the aftermarkets.

BTW a 91 nsx will run around 22,000. and the faster 97 nsx(13.2ish) is around 30,000 Also i will be paying about half the cost of the loan a month.(not that spoiled)

just looking for opinions not flames.

The SRT-4 hands down. Great performance, Waaaaaaayyyyyyy easier to mod and cheaper too, and your friends can come along too (back seat)...

Plus the nsx would be more of a cop magnet...

yeah im really leaning toward the srt. its just the cool factor to drive the nsx i guess. the only thing is that goes against everything i believe in, (to drive a car because someone else thinks it is cool). i drive a 95 acr for christ sakes. plus a nsx guy getting owned by a neon=priceless.

thanks for the input

if you want it, you want it regardless of what we say.
only reason you want the nsx seems to be the bling factor... THAT is doing it just because other people like it (you mighta been talkin about the nsx at that time, but i wasnt 100% sure).
choice = easy if you ask me. buy the fastest car evAr, the srt-4!

Ya but Jesus H. its an NSX! I've loved that car since the first time I saw one. Yes the SRT has a warranty, BUT, the NSX is an NSX. Yes, its probably not much faster than an SRT, but, well, the NSX is an NSX. Sure its probably 14 years old, but have you ever seen an NSX that was in bad shape? Its an NSX!! Blarg! If I had the money, I would buy both. Otherwise, I would get the SRT-4. Sure the NSX is an NSX, but I personally cant look past the warranty, the newness and the practicality. But gawd damn would I love to have an NSX!

yeah i love the black. that car is over priced though for a 91. on ebay there is a yellow nsx that is sooooo fuckin sweet looking.

also i have been thinking and i think the only nsx i would take over the srt would be a 97 and up. but seeing as they cost too much kinda makes my mind up.

could you imagine what the acura guys would say if they saw this thread?

i already posted it to all my acura forums... titled

"LOOK! SRT4 OWNERS ARE SOOOOO LAME, THEY WANT THEIR SRT4 OVER A NSX!!!"

you do what you gotta do in life! dont worry about what others say.

take a test drive (if you havent already) maybe you might not even be able to drive the srt4 comfortably.. my bro hates the shifter/shifting SO much, he says he wouldnt buy one for that
