what would be the cheaper route out and what would u guys do.
build a 10 sec srt-4 and then buy a cheap car just to get u around town in?
or would u save up and buy a zr1 wich mite take u 7-10years?keep in mind u have to manage upkeep on srt-4 because no 9-10 sec srt-4 is reliable
I assume you are talking about Corvette ZR1 that costs 100k. That means you would have to save 10k a year for the next 10. Just be smart and get a 401k or a saving account. Anyone who drives a 100k car and isn't a millionare is an idiot.
There is no such thing as a 10sec SRT-4, at least on the street, unless you drive around with slicks on.
It's nice to day dream, but reality is a bitch. If you want a budget supercar I would suggest in a few years you get a used Z06 or Viper. Look on ebay there is always low mileage Vipers on there for pretty cheap. With a set of drag radials and some spray either car could do 10's.
You think you can take your ZR1 to Jiffy Lube? There's a reason it's 100k.

I'm fuckin with ya! I never took my teggy there.
b20/b16 set up going to jack off lube?@!?! never!
I don't get some people... they hate doing oil changes because they can't/choose not to do it themselves....and hate paying for them, ..this isn't just about oil changes... maintaining a vehicle of any matter. once something fucks up the first thing they do is bitch about how shitty their car is... bitch about how fucking stupid of an owner you are!!! ehh.. I'm guessing about 5g's a year to maintain a zr-1 if you're not a do it yourself-er!
Eh, I choose to keep my Integra out of the hands of idiots/lackies/slackers.
Why? 99.999 percent of integras are in the hands of idiots anyway, the owners

i second this! pay yourself first and your car second. you may have this stuff taken care of but lets me honest...your car is not going to pay bills when you a retired! it will be a forgotten memory.

Unfortunately, with the model getting older, the price does go down and they fall into the hands of people who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground.
The price of SRT-4's is dropping rapidly so, you'll pick up some of these idiots here and there too. Although.....the SRT-4 was only produced for 3 years where the Integra (the most popular/my chassis...DC) was produced for 7 years. So they'll be more cars for ass hats to find.
But, the only good thing about this is that with older, rougher models falling into the hands of kids that will continue to not take care of them.....just makes my car all that more appealing when I go to sell it
